Ceramic transfers, 2015-16
Ceramic prints – 2014 & 2015. In 2014 I started with experimenting with printing (silkscreen) my own ceramic transfers. This lead to the series of ‘Garden lovers’ and ‘Wake up!’. I also teach this technique in workshops for the Grafische Werkplaats. The prints are used on divers old and new tableware.

Ceramic prints – 2004. In 2004 I have experimented with printing linocuts into clay. These experiments have resulted in small flat and 3D reliefs, mainly of fishes and plants. These reliefs are fired and glazed.

Riso prints – 2015. I love the riso print technique. A sort of cross-over of stencilling and photocopying it is a fairly quick way of reproducing with it’s own specifics. This series of cityscapes was my first attempt.

In 2016 I participated in the project with exhibition ‘Haagse portretten’ of the Grafische Werkplaats. I made my self-portrait showing my inner Kali. It is a lino-print on a moving blanket to which I added felt, embroidery and needle felting.

I dream of swimming – 2006. In 2006 I participated in publishing ‘De Villa’. 5 artists formed ‘De Zuid-Hollandse stripclub’ and each produced a story in drawings all centered around a certain Villa.
